Today I found an interesting document ATLAS
OF HEALTH AND CLIMATE made by World Health Organization (WHO) and World
Meteorological Organization (WMO) of 2012 about diseases and climate;
they mentioned a numbers of infections affected by climate conditions as
temperature and humidity, (which I understand in turn are affected by climate
change). They also pay attention to emergencies due to extreme events as flood
and hurricanes and emerging environmental challenges including Climate Change
that produces, among others, Heat Stress that has affected several countries in
the last years.
I understood from the report that the
mainly affected areas are those from not developed countries, but due to the risks
mentioned I think they would affect the whole world regardless of the level of economic
development.
