I have been
reading a report from the Bank
of England about climate change (page 79 points 12 and 13) and they mention
that in the short term there would be no real impact of the climate change in
rates of mortality or morbidity in UK. I presume they are talking just from the
insurance point of view.
Notwithstanding
The
2015 Lancet Commission on Health and Climate Change is saying: “The effects of climate change are being felt
today, and future projections represent an unacceptably high and potentially
catastrophic risk to human health”.
It means,
for me, they are looking at the situation form very different points of view
meaning they would be evaluation different sets of affected people. The same is
valid for the “alleged” contradiction I mentioned days ago…
